A very close game of football, although Mossley Hill ending up winning the game Gilmour were VERY unlucky not to come away with a draw.
Both teams created alot of good chances in front of goal however goals from Keanan and Sam Scarth helped secure the win. Mathew and Jack performed well in goal providing ample cover for Saul.
The boys coped well in the blustery and cold weather conditions providing good entertaining to those freezing on the line.
Well done to both teams and ensure you keep enjoying the football.
Mossley Hill 7 v 0 Team Oasis
Saturday 30th February 2008

always great to watch and support by both sides
mossley played the first half against a strong wind but still managed to play some great football
marshalls scored first with a great long ball, but to mossleys credit they kept plugging away and were
unlucky not to be level at half time the sec ond half saw leon & ethan control the midfield

well done again to both sides

sam scarth scored the second with wade finishing with another
well done to all
Mossley Hill 0 v 2 Real Vikings

mossley hill came back in to the game and had some great chances to get a goal back
wade was very unlucky with two efforts just missing the post
keenan also had chances
with us not having our keeper in goal sam hibbert went in and done very well
the game was always very competitive and both sides tried to play football
matty was solid in defence and protected sam in goal
the longer the game went on the more frustrating we became in our play
vikings managed to score another goal
but to mossleys credit they never gave up until the final whistle
-Mossley Hill 4 v 0 Westmoor
Saturday 2nd February 2008
Kick Off - 10:30hrs
a game which saw mossley hill have quite a lot of the ball in the first half but westmoor played quite deep
and kept the game tight sam hibbert got the first goal for us to lead at halt time
the second half we still found it hard to break westmoor down (worked hard 4 each other)
but with the passing a lot quicker in the last 10 mins which saw sam scarth wade & keenan score
hopefully the pitches will improve (weather permitting) to help us with our passing

A game in which both teams competed well.
The game was very close throughout with both goal keepers making some excellent saves.
Mossley Hill used the space on the pitch with some great passing and moving.
The team looked strong from the defence through to attack.
Sam Hibbert scored the only goal of the match mid-way though the first half with a well taken shot off the outside of his right foot, which beat the Springwood keeper on his near post.

Mossley Hill 4 v Marshalls Barkhill 0
Saturday 3rd November 2007
Kick Off - 11:15 hrs
A game which was slow to get started. The score was 1 -0 at half time through a well taken goal from Mathew Kewn. Defensively the term performed well keeping the number of chances for the opposition to score to a minimum. The Marshalls goalkeeper also performed well, making some great save.
In the 2nd half Mossley Hill took more control although the passing was patchy and at times the play was congested. We must concentrate on created space and using it more effectively.
