A slow start by the boys butl taken goals from Jack Bryant as well as as goals from Peter, Kian and Dan. Dan your Dad's waited four years for you to score with your head, well done ! Once again we were down to our last eleven players with Matt representing Liverpool City School Boys and Ross unavailable. Boys so far so good keep up the team spirit.

One of those games when we had plenty of chances but the ball just would'nt go in the back of the net. When it did, what a goal, Nathan scored a brilliant goal very well taken. Delta defended excellently throughout the game making it difficult for the boys. Dan settled in well upfront comimg close on two occasions. A great display by Adam who led by example in his role as captain.

After Jack Bryant scoring an early goal to put Mossley Hill 1-0 up. Chelwood came back to level
1-1. Although both teams had many chances neither could find the back of the net even Nathans tremendous shot was excellently saved by the chelwood keeper.
We were unluncky not to win.

A very entertaining game with some great passing football from the team. Three well taken goals by Jack, Danny and and excellent goal from Nathan. Unfortunately we seemed to loose our concentration during a fifteen minute period resulting in two goals for the Venny. But other than that a fine performance by all those involved.

A disappointing game when we initially started, when we clearly made no attempt to play to our potential. Well done to Oasis who kept going throughout the game with two great goals and a great team spirit. A much improved second half from the boys with some well taken goals and great movement and passing.

An excellent performance from all involved, we started off slowly but soon got going with some excellent play throughout the team, showing determination , commitment and more importantly the desire to win. We came close on a number of occasions but great build up play resulted in a good goal from our captain Conor who stole the ball from Jack's foot to chip the keeper. A very proud day for both Darren and I and the parents on the line. Keep it up boys !

A good performance from the boys after a lay off for two weeks. We started well, playing our usual game, with some great movement off the ball and some fine passing. Jack kept his running streak with two well taken goals and Conor kept going providing two other goals. A superbly taken free kick from Matty along with goals from Dan and Adam made up the rest of our goal tally. Ben continues to settle into the team with a steady performance. Jake (Smigger) another fine performance throughout the game and well done to Matty who was outstanding in the first half. Have a great christmas boys and hopefully we will continue the standard of football we have played in the first half of our season.

A great start to the second half of the season with the boys dominating throughout the game. An unfortunate blip in the first half with a lack of concentration resulted in a well taken goal by the opposition. The boys soon made amends with a typical goal poachers goal from Dan. We started the second half as we finished the first dominating throughout. New boy Jay came on and made an instant impact creating the second goal with an unbelievable left foot volley from Jack. Jay rounded off a great performance with a well taken third goal for the team. A true captain's performance from Peter, controlling the midfield throughout the game.

Due to the pitches being water logged at Simpsons, we managed to play our league game against Delta up at Mossley Hill.The boys did'nt manage to get their heads around the slope on the pitch in the first half, however, we still managed to dominate the game with a couple of chances falling to Jack. The second half saw us playing much better with some intelligent passing from Ben and good determination from Connor. The boys in defence were untested and played the ball well when required, passing the ball around and making the most of the space Nathan had on the right handside. Some excellent deteremination and pressure on Delta's goalkeeper resulted in a n indirect free kick inside the box. A well taken free kick by Matty resulted in us taking the lead, we continued to pressurize Delta at the back but were unlucky not to extend our lead. Overall a good game with a determined opposition. Well done to both teams.

All credit to Oasis who's players show week after week what commitment to their team is all about. A good performance from the boys with some well taken goals and at times some good passing of the ball. We still need to remember that we cant always run past the opposition, we need to use the ball and our team mates as best as possible.

A great all around performance from the boys. We started off well with a well taken goal from Matty, who took on the right back and then struck the ball floating it over the keeper.A lack of concentration at the back resulted in a good goal from the opposition. Shortly after their first goal N.W.L.L were awrded a dubious penalty which resulted in their second goal, which unfortunately Ross had no chance in saving. A first half substitution saw Jay coming off the bench and making an instant impact with his first goal. At half time we went in on equal terms, the boys started the second half with Ross keeping us in the game with a fine safe. The boys showed real determination and finally we got our just rewards with Jay getting his second goal slotting the ball in the corner. Well Done !

Not one of our best games, we failed to do the simple things such as passing and movement off the ball. Connor Martin scored two goals in the first followed by a well taken half volley from MOM Adam. Apologies Matty but your Dad missed your goal, however, I was told it was an excellent goal.

This certainly was a game of two halves. We dominated the first half with a well taken free kick from Matty leading to Jack's glancing header finding the back of the net for our first goal. A well taken goal from Conor meant we went into half time with a two goal lead which was well deserved. The second half was a different game altogether, we allowed the opposition to force their way back into the game and with some poor defending with the game finnishing level. A special mention to Nathan who had he scored it would have been goal of the season. Lets not forget we played the whole game without any subs.

A game played in poor weather conditions, and with boys not being able to call upon any subs, the boys coped very well. A couple of boys to say thankyou too, firstly Dan who played even though he was full of a cold and Burger who did'nt have a great deal to do and got on with the job regardless of the weather conditions.

Today was a proud moment for all concerned with our team as we were crowned League Champions and we are still undefeated. It has been a pleasure to watch the boys progress throughout the season playing some great football and also being a very sporting towards their opponents. Today was no different with some great goals, unfortunately Adam was unable to capitalise on his second goal even with his dad offering him a financial bonus. A great performance from Matty with a well taken goal resulted him earning MOM. Lastly a mention for Burger who despite having very little to do managed to pull off a great save to ensure we kept a clean sheet.

Not the best football we've played this season, however, lets not forget we maintained our unbeaten record and only conceded fifteen goals at the same time. We have played some great football this season and set a good standard that we need to maintain. Lets make sure we continue to do so in the cup competitions. Lastly as you all know Jake has been poorly with apendicitis, lets hope he gets better soon.
