Training this week 5,30 start Tuesday
Mayfield 1 Mossley Hill 1
Mossley Hill have improved since their drubbing by Mayfield last time they played and started the better of the 2 teams playing some great football, the score at half time was 0,0. not too sure how as the chances that fell to both sides were not converted. Jacob then hit a great free kick in to the top of the net.to make it 1,0.Mossley had quite a few scares from then on with Mayfield scoring from a long free kick which went over the keeper. All in all a good game with both teams giving their best in a very sporting contest.Well done to the lads who have been improving slowly all season.
Mossley Hill 2 Fur and Feather 2
A game which saw Mossley go 2 goals down but fought back to acheive a draw with goals from Jacob and Darren ,the team need to be learn how to play quickly and more consistently.
Chelwood Panthers 1 Mossley Hill 3
A good game of football played by 2 teams looking to play the game the right way.Mossley scored some very good football with one goal starting with the keeper Joe and 4 passes later the ball was in the back of the net.Tom,Jacob and Charlie sored in an entertaining game.
Chelwood 0 Mossley Hill 2
A good game played in the right spirit with plenty of chances at each end.The Chelwood golkeeper had a great game making some excellent saves.Jamie opened the scoring with a neat finish and Darren adding a 2nd to win the game.A good improvement on the season so far.
Mossley Hill 2 Team Oasis 1
Mossley Hill started the game as if we had never played before once half time came and we were a gaol behind, the coach gave several words of encouragement to motivate the palyers,Mossley decided it was time to play,we were then awarded a penalty we duly missed then Jamie scored and with better football being played we got the winner a couple of minutes before the end.
Paromount 0 Mossley Hill 6
Mossley hill the fastest improving team at the Club currently played football from back to front, with some excellent play at times. The goals were a result of some great football and deserved the finishes they got.Tom Green helped himself to another brace.Darren another two well taken goals with Jake and Jamie adding the other two to make it 3 wins on the run.
Mossley Hill 2 Oasis 1
The last time this game was played Mossley were rebuilding and were well beaten. This game was a different proposition the team are looking to play more football now .All the players are now looking more comfotable on the ball.Tom Green helped himself to 2 goals and our football deserved more goals ,however the wind was a big factor and from a goal kick Oasis got back in the game.Mossley held on to win and are looking forward to the next game.
Mossley Hill 7 Team Oasis 0
A great game played by 2 very sporting teams some great football played with all the players looking to play fast accurate football.Darren had a great game on the wing hitting a hatrick his first for the Club.Charlie did what he does best battling for every ball and scorring another 2 well taken goals,Adam and Jake also got on the score sheet. The team are making good strides forward and need to continue their development.
Mayfield 3 Mossley Hill 0
Mossley Hill need to learn a lot from this game with players needing to improve greatly to
ensure they keep a place at the Club for next season.
Mossley 4 Gillmour 1
A good game payed by 2 very well matched teams some great football played with all the players benefiting from the coaching .Scorers today were Charlie,Jamie,Liam and Adam.
We are starting to improve and there is a willingness to learn.
Feb9th vs Marshalls 5 M Hill 2
Marshalls are a strong and very well organised team,Mossley however scored 2 very well worked goals. The team need to learn quickly that playing for Mossley Hill means everyone wants to beat you and we need to show great character and determination. Marchalls deserved their win today and we need to work hard to close the gap
2 games with different experiences, the team as always tried to play great football and will continue to do so.Thanks to Team Oasis who stood in for Home and bargain. The least said about the Chelwood game the better.Nothing to do with our players or the line.
