Mossley Hill 2 Chelwood Panthers 2
First game of the season and good test from a much improved Chelwood Panthers team .
From the kick off we were put under pressure from our opponents who were well organised and used their tactics to take good advantage of the hill , as the half wore on we started to play good football and this resulted in a fine move which saw Jacob put through for he first of his goals.
We continued to play good stuff in the second half without either goal really being threatend
until we were rather unfortunate to have a penalty awarded against us with which Chelwood equalised , this goal gave Chelwood a lift and they put us under a bit of pressure and Joe had to be at his best to keep them out but a defensive mixup allowed Chelwoods lightning quick left winger in to make it 2-1 . We started to pile on pressure in search of the equaliser missing a number of good chances but with a minute to go It was Chelwoods turn to be unfortunate and have a penalty awarded against them with which Jacob made it 2-2 .

Mossley Hill 2 v Pex Hill jnrs 2
We are still in search of our first victory of the season but it does not reflect the quality of football from the boys , even the first half when we were losing 1-0 the passing and movement was excellent . We got back into the game through a fine finish from Liam but after that we seemed to tire and we found ourselves 2-1 down , in fact Lewis who had been very impressive in the first half had to come off along with Matty as they had both played for the school that morning only for Lewis to return with minutes remaining and score a screamer to give us the draw.
Goal Scorers : Liam Langton , Lewis Cooper
Man of Match : Charlie Moore
Mossley Hill 1 Orchard 4
This game was doomed from the start , the withdrawal of four players through various reasons left us with the unusual option in registering an untested trialist who will probably not be playing again
( his choice ), one of the absentees was our keeper forcing us to play striker Connor in goal and he was one of the few bright spots in a lacklustre performance and one that cannot be repeated if we are to challenge for anything this season
Goal Scorer : Charlie Moore
Man of Match :Connor Jevons
Mossley Hill 3 Cronus Trojans 0
Much better , signs at first were not great , a late withdrawal from Goalie Joe and two influential players arriving late due to school commitments , but factors such as the impressive return of Isaac next to a commanding Kevin who had one lack of discipline to thank for costing him MoM , also the return to full back of Sam and the return to form of Joe up front made sure that when the two late comers were ready to come on , we were already in a comanding position in the game .
Goal Scorers :Sam Nimmo 2 , Charlie Moore
Man of Match : Sam Nimmo
Mossley Hill 4 Cronus Titans 1
This had to be our best performance so far this season , again we had some fantastic individual performances such as Connor who had spent the previous 2 games in goal , Isaac and Joe Lewis who in this and the previous game have given outstanding performances in what have been problem positions and added to the likes of Jacob , Lewis ,Charlie Aston , Kevin, Jamie and Sam giving their usual solid perfomances it was areally great display , and given these performances and the fact that Tom and Liam were struggling with knocks and Matty to return after school duty it looks well for the rest of the season .
( the only player not mentioned this week was keeper Joe , I hope it stays the same for the rest of the season)
Goal Scorers : Jacob Foster , Jamie Manning , Joe Lewis , Charlie Moore
Man of Match : Connor Jevons
Mossley Hill 2 v Orchard 1
Unfortunately due to work commitments I missed Saturdays game , But from the coaches reports I believe that it was another fine performance from the boys .
Goal Scorers : Charlie Moore , Jamie Manning

MOSSLEY HILL 8 CREWE 5
FANTASTIC ACHIEVEMNT AS MOSSLEY HILL CAME OUT ON TOP IN TOUGH CONDITIONS.
Crewe had some excellent players but the strength in depth of the Mossley squad overcame Crewe.
