county cup semi playing liverpool feds was always going to be a tough game but thats what we have come to expect,Mossley started the game well creating alot of chances which payed off,with a great goal on the volly from carla Lee and a wonderfull goal from Hannah Lundberg to make it 2-0 at halftime. Feds took the game to mossley in the second half and made it 2-1 via a penalty with mossley going down to 10 players ,feds made it 2-2 in the last 5 mins after mossley failed to clear their lines. Extra time on a cold muddy pitch isent what both teams wanted but to our credit we held out with 10 players to take it to penalties. mossley scored all theirs via Liz Baird,carla Lee,chelsea starkey and Alice Bowden. We are now looking foreward to the final v Everton,well done to every player for giving 100% and then some. F.A CUP The F.A.CUP draw is always exciting but this year seen M,ossley drawn against the top of the league SOUTH DURHAM at home ,Mossley have been hot and cold in the league but cup games can bring out the best in everyone if you really want it , and Mossley wanted it more to Durhams cost. The first half was very fast and some excellent football was played ,mossley took the game to the league leaders and went two goals up at half time vie Sophie Perry and Kim Cahill,could and should have been more. Durham came back in the second half and made it 2-1 but the work rate and team effort by Every Mossley player proved to much for Durham and Mossley marched on to the next round who they now face Sheffield united AWAY , looking forward to that already. Well done to everyone, now we take this performance into every game. FANTASTIC.
